STRANDED is made and run by Last Minute Productions, based in Texas, USA. This page says what the game collects, what it keeps, and how to have it deleted. It was last updated on October 13, 2026.
The short version
- You can play without an account, and without giving us your name or email.
- If you sign in, we keep your email address, the player name you choose, your streak and your looks, so they follow you between devices.
- There are no adverts, and we do not sell or rent anything about you to anyone.
- You can delete your account from inside the game at any time.
What is kept in your browser
The game stores a few things in your own browser so it works: a random anonymous id, today's run, your play streak, the looks you have unlocked, and whether the sound is off. It uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
What we collect when you play
- Your game: the answers you type, the points they score, your total, and when you played.
- An anonymous id: the random id from your browser, so one player's games can be counted together. It does not say who you are.
- How you got here: the site that linked to the game, a tag on the link if it had one, and whose shared result you followed, if any.
- Your network address: used for a few minutes to stop abuse, such as a script sending thousands of answers. It is not saved with your games.
- Feedback: if you send any, the rating and comment you write.
What we collect if you sign in
Signing in is optional and uses your Google account. Google tells us your email address, your name and your profile picture; we use the email address and nothing else. We then keep, with your account: your email address, the player name you choose, your looks, your play streak, and the anonymous ids of the browsers you have signed in on. We never see your Google password.
What we use it for
- To run the game: score your answers by how rare they are, and keep your streak and looks.
- To show results: how a day's players did, and where your score ranks.
- To make the game better and to stop cheating and abuse.
- To write about the game: we sometimes share a day's numbers or its rarest answers in posts. These never say who gave an answer.
What other players can see
Your player name and your scores may be shown to other players, on leaderboards for example. Your email address is never shown to anyone.
Who else handles it
The game is hosted on Google's Firebase service, which stores its data and handles sign-in on our behalf. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or give it to anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Your account is kept until you delete it. Games and answers are kept as anonymous records, which is how the scoring and the day's numbers work.
Deleting your account
In the game, sign in, tap your name on the main menu, and choose Delete my account. That removes your email address, your player name, your saved streak and looks, and your sign-in. Games you have played stay as anonymous records that are no longer tied to you. To ask for anything else to be removed, use the Feedback button on the result screen of the game.
Children
You must be 13 or older to make an account. We do not knowingly keep an account for anyone younger, and will delete one if we learn of it. Anyone can play without an account.
