LMP Daily Games Guide · Picks for 2026
The best daily games to play in 2026
The best daily games in 2026 are Wordle and Connections for words, Queens and Pips for logic, TimeGuessr and Worldle for geography, Framed and Bandle for film and music, Murdle for a story, and Krillion or STRANDED if you like creative answers that other players would not think of. All of them can be played in a browser in a few minutes a day.
LMP makes STRANDED, and it is marked wherever it appears. Every other game here is made by someone else and is not affiliated with us. Nobody paid to be listed.
A great daily game does three things: it takes a few minutes, it is the same for everyone that day, and it gives you something to talk about afterwards. Here are the ones we would play first, picked by what they are best at rather than one ranking for everything. We make STRANDED, so it is marked as ours.
Our picks, by what they do best
1.Wordle
Guess a five-letter word in six tries, with coloured tiles showing which letters are right and where.
Best for a two-minute habit. Still the cleanest daily game there is, and the result grid is something everyone recognises.
Visit Wordle →2.Connections
Sort sixteen words into four groups of four that share something, with four mistakes allowed.
Best word puzzle for a real think. Most days one group will fool you, and that is the point.
Visit Connections →3.Queens
Place one queen in every row, column and coloured region, with no two queens touching, even diagonally.
Best quick logic puzzle. Clears in a minute or two once you see the trick, and LinkedIn shows how your network did.
Visit Queens →4.Pips
Place dominoes on a board so every coloured region meets its rule: a sum, all equal, not equal, more than or less than.
Best logic puzzle with a difficulty choice. Easy, Medium and Hard every day, from NYT Games, launched in 2025.
Visit Pips →5.TimeGuessr
For each of five photos, pin where it was taken and pick the year; closer guesses score more.
Best geography game for history fans. Pinning the year is often harder than pinning the place.
Visit TimeGuessr →6.Worldle
Name a country from its silhouette in six tries, with each miss showing the distance and direction to the answer.
Best two-minute geography game. Distance and direction after each miss turn guessing into navigation.
Visit Worldle →7.Framed
Guess the film from stills, with another frame shown after each wrong guess, up to six.
Best movie game. Recognising a scene is easier than remembering a fact, so anyone can play.
Visit Framed →8.Bandle
Guess the song as its instruments are added one at a time, in up to six guesses.
Best music game. Hearing a song build up one instrument at a time makes the moment you get it feel good.
Visit Bandle →9.Murdle
Solve a short murder mystery each day: work out who did it, with what and where, from clues and a deduction grid.
Best daily puzzle with a story. A logic grid wrapped in a whodunit, with jokes.
Visit Murdle →10.Contexto
Find a secret word with unlimited guesses; each guess is ranked by how close its meaning is, with the answer at number 1.
Best word game that is not about spelling. You hunt for a word by its meaning, not its letters.
Visit Contexto →11.Krillion
Give one answer to each of seven daily prompts; rarer valid answers score more and take your dive deeper.
Best for creative answers. Seven prompts a day, where the valid answer other players miss scores highest.
Visit Krillion →12.STRANDEDMade by LMP
Answer six open-ended questions a day; the fewer players who gave your answer, the more it scores, and the further a crashed alien runs on his way home.
Also great for funny, creative answers and comparing with friends. There is no single right answer: the rarer yours, the higher it scores, and your total picks one of nine endings.

We checked each game's rules on its own site, and in reporting on it, in October 2026. We looked for games that are free or have a free daily mode, run in a browser, take under fifteen minutes, and are worth talking about afterwards. We left out games that need a download to play at all. Nobody paid to be on this list.

Our own pick: STRANDED
STRANDED is a free daily browser game made by Last Minute Productions. Each day everyone gets the same six open-ended questions, such as "Name something you shouldn't do on a first date." Each accepted answer scores between 1 and 500 points depending on how few other players gave it, and the total out of 3,000 decides how far a small crashed alien gets on his way home and which of nine endings he reaches.
Play STRANDED free Made by Last Minute Productions, the publisher of this guide. How to play STRANDED
- Open stranded.run. It runs in any phone or computer browser. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
- Answer six questions, 25 seconds each. If an answer is not on the list, you lose nothing and can try another until the clock runs out.
- Rarer answers score more. An answer given by about 30% of players is worth around 100 points; one given by fewer than 1 in 200 is worth 500.
- Watch the alien run. He runs through the woods, the farm, downtown and Area 39 as your points add up.
- See your ending. Your total decides which of nine endings you get. Scores of 2,201 or more reach the secret one and a bonus question.
The full rules and the scoring table are on the how to play STRANDED page.
Why come back tomorrow
A new run with six new questions opens every day at midnight US Central time, and everyone gets one try. Finishing on consecutive days builds a streak, which earns silver, gold and diamond skins at 10, 25 and 50 days.
Accounts and saved progress
You can play STRANDED without an account. Signing in with Google is optional: it keeps your streak and skins on any device, gives you a player name, and lets you start a friends' race and appear on race and creator leaderboards. Without signing in, your progress is kept in your browser.
