Games like Krillion: daily games where the rare answer wins

By Last Minute Productions · Updated · Game details checked October 2026

Quick answer

If you like Krillion because the obvious answer scores least, the closest daily game is STRANDED: six open-ended questions a day, where each answer scores more the fewer players gave it. Contexto, Semantle and Connections are good next picks if you enjoy thinking about words sideways.

LMP makes STRANDED, and it is marked wherever it appears. Every other game here is made by someone else and is not affiliated with us. Nobody paid to be listed.

What makes Krillion fun

Krillion is a daily trivia game with an ocean-dive theme. Everyone gets the same seven prompts, and you give one answer to each against a short timer. Answers are checked against a list of valid ones, and the less common a valid answer is, the more it scores and the deeper your dive goes. It turns trivia from "know the answer" into "know an answer nobody else will".

One caution before you go looking: several websites use the Krillion name, and some are fan-made copies or answer sites. We link to krillion.io, which looks like the original, but we could not confirm who makes it.

Answer six open-ended questions a day; the fewer players who gave your answer, the more it scores, and the further a crashed alien runs on his way home.

The closest match in spirit. STRANDED asks six open-ended questions a day, and each answer scores 1 to 500 points by how few players gave it. Instead of a dive, your total carries a crashed alien across a map to one of nine endings. It is a different game with its own questions and scoring, made by LMP, and is not affiliated with Krillion.

Play STRANDED: the rarest answer wins

STRANDED is a free daily browser game made by Last Minute Productions. Each day everyone gets the same six open-ended questions, such as "Name something you shouldn't do on a first date." Each accepted answer scores between 1 and 500 points depending on how few other players gave it, and the total out of 3,000 decides how far a small crashed alien gets on his way home and which of nine endings he reaches.

How to play STRANDED

  1. Open stranded.run. It runs in any phone or computer browser. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
  2. Answer six questions, 25 seconds each. If an answer is not on the list, you lose nothing and can try another until the clock runs out.
  3. Rarer answers score more. An answer given by about 30% of players is worth around 100 points; one given by fewer than 1 in 200 is worth 500.
  4. Watch the alien run. He runs through the woods, the farm, downtown and Area 39 as your points add up.
  5. See your ending. Your total decides which of nine endings you get. Scores of 2,201 or more reach the secret one and a bonus question.

The full rules and the scoring table are on the how to play STRANDED page.
